CEO: Storied 47-Year Real Estate Background

John’s experience spans all aspects of real estate development including acquisition, entitlement, equity placement, financing, project management, portfolio management, leasing, and construction on domestic and international projects.

Following his BS in Civil Engineering, John launched his real estate career by working on major international and domestic construction projects, becoming heavily involved in the development and management of multi-sector assets for multinational corporations and domestic pension fund advisors. He has worked in the private sector developing multilocation facilities for fitness club operators, childcare facilities, large warehouse distribution facilities, and multifamily facilities for his own account. John has fine-tuned his expertise on the portfolio management and development of multifamily housing at a senior level with the leading REIT housing provider Equity Residential in the western United States.

In 2023, John chose to leverage his extensive experience by expanding into senior independent, assisted living, and memory care facilities in collaboration with his longtime colleague Roger Osborn.

With a 30-year tenure dedicated to maximizing clients’ returns, Roger addresses three fundamental questions: what are the optimal investment strategies considering market conditions and long-term objectives? What income streams can be anticipated? When is the best time for executing exit strategies, aligning with market trends and client goals?

Roger has a proven track record in leading exit planning initiatives for real estate developers and regional operators of senior and multi-family housing. His innovative deal structures seamlessly integrate direct sales with like-kind exchanges to optimize portfolio value.

Furthermore, Roger offers invaluable advice on clients’ PPMs, loan agreements, and other investment documentation. His focus is on minimizing dilution, reducing the cost of capital, and ensuring timely distributions. His expertise extends to creating compelling investment presentations for investment banks and foreign dignitaries.

Roger has also made significant contributions in large-scale asset-backed securitization. He developed and executed a strategy that successfully secured a Best-Efforts offering and $220 million in capital from Lehman Brothers in 2003.

Roger is a licensed CPA in Illinois and Nevada and a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor. He has furthered his expertise with executive certificates in Venture Capital and Private Equity from Columbia University, as well as in Mergers and Acquisitions from the Wharton School.
